To provide a comprehensive, reliable, high quality print and print management service to all University academic, student and administrative communities


In-house Printing Facilities for Staff & Students

The Print & Copy Bureau provides an all inclusive range of in-house printing facilities and whilst it can offer printing services normally available from departmental printers, it also offers superior printing quality, a full range of paper grades and finishes, finishing services, including binding, laminating, large format posters, mount boards, exhibition services, booklet making, stapling, punching, ticketing, and numbering mail-outs. All these services are offered at commercial standards of print quality and production methods.

The Print & Copy Bureau also offers a counter service. This service is primarily open to students to provide a `while you wait` service for last minute printing and binding. Staff are always available to provide advice and guidance for exacting printing standards that conform to University guidelines.

Our Undertaking

The Print & Copy Bureau aims to provide an exceptional In-House printing service to all users. The Print & Copy Bureau uses the latest high specification printing equipment to ensure a high quality and responsive service. The printing equipment used within the Print & Copy Bureau offers twice the quality of print definition when compared to all other printers provided within the University.

We promise to:

  • acknowledge all enquiries within 4 hours of receipt when received during normal working hours.
  • submit firm prices within 24 hours except where the customer is informed of a delay.
  • deliver all orders within 48 hours, unless by prior arrangement
  • process all orders in accordance with University financial terms and conditions
  • ensure all printed products confirm to the University visual identify guidelines
  • ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times
  • ensure jobs are printed to the highest quality
  • Customer Obligations


We would like you to provide the following:

Full department description, department and contact details
Type of product required

A description of the design or a pdf file.
Type of paper stock and thickness.
The quantity required.
The finished size of the forms/booklets etc. e.g. A5, A4 or A3.
Details of the finishing required (if appropriate) i.e. Wire Stitching, Drilling, Folding, or Comb Binding for booklets.


We would like you to provide the following:

Account Number to charge or
SIPR Number – One SIPR Number for each product is required
Name and Delivery address including Room Number and Building
Any special Delivery instructions

Print Management Service

For complex projects the Print & Copy Bureau offers a Print Management Service. The Print Management Service manages the University Print Framework out-sourced service, ensuring that best quality and value for money is achieved.
